IAM Constitution—this is the guiding document for the entire International. It is reviewed every 4 years at the International Conference. As a smaller local, we are entitled to send one delegate. This is where all the rules are made so it is the most important conference to ensure we send someone.

District 776 bylaws—this is the guiding document for our District. We are an inverted district so these bylaws are important. We pay our dues to the District and they divvy them out to the International, AFL-CIO membership, our share of the Business Rep, and other services provided by the District. We receive a “tax” back from them the amount of which depends on how many members we have. That chart is shown in the document.

Local 2011 bylaws—these are the orginal bylaws from 2009, when the local was established. The Bylaw Committee is now working on an updated document which will soon be read aloud according the rules of the IAM for adoption.
